Does anyone have a suggestion where I could get historical tick data for the ES, ER, NQ?

Re: tick data for emini
Mon, July 9, 2007 - 6:27 PMYes, I am, Nate Been doing this, but wanted to start doing multiple year tests and such.
However, I have discovered that with Tradestation, they have changed how they handle tick data and nothing seems to import into them. I did find one place which had 3 years of data for free in TS format - only - it's not compatible with the current version of TS it seems.
So... I guess I just have to make sure I am able to keep my data. You get six months and then whatever you manage to save up. -

Re: tick data for emini
Mon, July 9, 2007 - 7:54 PMtake this to heart, there is a very good reason i'm learning elng on a cracked free compiler that cost nothing.
You wont find what your looking for on a backtested fib short or not. you can trade or not, good luck with X time, X wont mean shit.
you either want to be a trader or you dont. this is the worst hobby you can ever take up. your all in or your not, i'm all in. -

Re: tick data for emini
Thu, July 12, 2007 - 10:12 PMbasically i think your wasting your time. i dont know any pro trader who trades algorithms.
pivots, market profile, tape, whatever info you can gain from who is taking market orders bid vs ask. thats the good stuff. anything else you can know that can be programmed will be programmed by someone like rentech and you will get raped.
